Sharon, MA, CCC/SLP is a Maryland licensed and ASHA board certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She has been in practice for over 12 years working in a variety of clinical settings including experience in a hospital acute care setting, outpatient rehabilitation setting, schools, and home-based early intervention setting. Her experience ranges from treating pediatric populations to adult neurological populations with a variety of medical diagnoses, injuries or illnesses.
She has been a member of the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association for over 12 years and previously held certification as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. Sharon graduated from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Science and Disorders in 2002 and later graduated from The University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee with a Master of Arts degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology in 2004.
Sharon returned to Hagerstown, MD in 2004 where she grew up and now continues to reside with her husband and two children. Her passion is working with children of all ages and abilities with a particular interest and focus in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. She is excited to now find her home with PMC and be a part of this new amazing facility to further service children and families in our area. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family in numerous activities and new adventures, taking part and volunteering in her church, running, cycling, and traveling.
