The Pediatric Movement Center now offers telehealth! With videoconferencing technology, PMC is able to able to bridge the gap in care that can result from distance and illness to provide our patients with the best possible care. Telehealth therapy provides

patients with physical, occupational and speech therapy when they cannot be at our clinic, and therefore allows continual progress

to be made towards therapy goals.

  • As a courtesy to our clients. PMC will check all insurance prior to starting telehealth therapy and notify families of coverage.
  • Patients who enroll in Telehealth services will be provided with an appointment date & time. We will do our best to accommodate your scheduling requests.
  • Telehealth therapy sessions will typically last 30-45 minutes
  • 5 minutes prior, or at the start of your scheduled therapy visit, your therapist will send a video conference link via email or text
  • Our telehealth software is HIPAA compliant, plus, patients do not need to download software ahead of time. They simply need to clink on the appointment link to start the session
  • Telehealth is not a replacement for typical, traditional therapy, but is a great resource to provide our patients with continuity of care, so they may continue to work on and progress towards their therapy goals. Telehealth is a great option to train and equip patients and families members with an exercise program that can be done from home!
